Hi, I’m Vivian 👋

📱 I currently work at Corus Entertainment in Toronto on the so.da team, leading social strategy for Pluto TV Canada, and previously Slice and W Network. I have 7+ years of experience with paid + organic social media management (social strategy, analytics & reporting, copywriting, community management, content planning, content editing) in various industries, most notably media and entertainment, on both client and agency side.

👩‍💼 I was also part of the highly competitive M2T Collective program (1 of 4 selected out of 100+ applicants across Canada), where I rotated between four leading companies in marketing, media and tech in Toronto. I worked as an Assistant Media Planner for Disney+ and Disney Parks at Publicis Media (agency side), a Marketing Solutions Specialist providing back-end campaign optimizations at LinkedIn (publisher side), an Account Manager at EQ Works (vendor side), and in TD and Aeroplan Partnerships Marketing at Starbucks (brand side).

🌟 I love all things film, TV, entertainment, and pop culture. I'm most passionate about Asian representation in media and championing diverse voices and perspectives both on and off screen. I currently sit on the Steering Committee for CREATE (Corus Entertainment's East Asian and Southeast Asian ERG). In my free time, I enjoy editing travel videos and volunteering on-set of independent film productions, working as Script Supervisor for a Canadian Film Centre (CFC) production, and sitting on the Board of Directors for New University Television (NUTV) in Calgary.
